The tear trough region is a common concern amongst people of all ages. The area is defined as the hollow which runs from just under the eye (beneath the tear duct) horizontally downwards and outwards across the cheek to create the appearance of a ‘dark circle’. The tear trough region can become sunken and shadowed creating a tired and aged look.
