After a thorough consultation, Botox® may be provided to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles. The treatment targets wrinkles in the frown region, across the forehead and around the
eyes.
The treatment involves a series of injections using a very fine needle. Generally speaking, the procedure is quite comfortable and topical anaesthetic (numbing cream) is not required. Afterwards a soothing cream is applied to the treated area. The procedure takes 15-20 minutes and no recovery time is required.
Clients can expect to look fresher, more energised and potentially younger following Botox® treatment. The forehead area appears smoother and those stubborn lines and creases that can make us look tired, angry or sad may disappear altogether. The eye area tends to look bigger and brighter and the treatment can be used to incorporate a ‘lift’ of the eyebrows.
